I'd tend toward the High Beyond.
Dangerous, certainly, but likely not much more dangerous than our
current world if you factor in the expanded abilities of individuals.
In a 'High Beyond' scenario individuals would command levels of
resources, energy and technology that we currently associate with nation
states or multinational corporations.
Personally, I find that very attractive, and as been mentioned in this
thread before, there would be _many_ options available.
