Makeup is less a hinderance to hygiene than lack of daily cleaning of the
skin. I support the use of makeup and I think it actually protects most
skin types. Boycott makeup? No! I love it.

Some makeup is full of toxic goo, but the quality brands are harmless.

I'm for makeup that not only smooths the epidermis or cutical layer of
skin; aids the collagen and elastic fibers; covers the benign, localized
brownish pigment; filters the ultraviolet rays; and protects the inner
corium or dermis.
