No, the argument (as I understand it) is that such surgery currently
requires life-long major immune suppression. Without a heart, you die
anyway. Without a hand, you are majorly inconvenienced, but not nearly as
badly as by having yr immune system deliberately knocked out - for life
(however long that then happens to be).
