Well, the poor get richer too.
Example:
Joe Sixpack has $1000. A year later he has $1100.
Scrooge McDuck has $1000000. A year later he has $1100000.
Joe is richer by $100, Scrooge by $100000.
Of course, basic expenses are proportionally higher for Joe, he may be only
$50 richer.
