Not true. Current theoretical physics is full of possible ways of bypassing
the light speed limit - in fact, it seems to be difficult to construct a
theory that does not allow FTL information transfer. While we can not
predict any specifics, it seems quite reasonable to expect that eventually
one of these theories will turn out to work in practice.
