A new style of chocolate is shaped like a truffle and is laced with Kavo,
gingko biloba and other herbs thought to improve memory. (Not quite a
memory chip, but at least it tastes delicious.)
In Today's news, 'Smart' Food:
"Functional or “smart” foods provide enhanced health benefits beyond basic
nutrition and have taken the food industry by storm. Like the raw vitamins
and supplements they contain, functional foods do not require approval from
the FDA."
These foods are said to ward off the many diseases that develop as we age.
“We’re looking at a market in the next five to 10 years and it’s going to
be about 34 billion dollars," Gene Grabowski of the Grocery Manufacturers
of America.
