Does anybody know Prof. Hank Dietz (pplinux@ecn.purdue.edu)? See:
http://yara.ecn.purdue.edu/~pplinux/
Maybe he could suggest how to make the crit database architecture
extend to frame-level HDTV time-code? We could use Netscape
browsers in the flat panel displays, with accelerated windowed
scaling for the video frames. Also, VRML hardware acceleration
(Open GL, *not* Direct3D) could be included. The wireless
router/proxy programming could improve latency issues.
