Yeah, spike, but 300mm is a basic part of my life. It's the
distance light travels in a nanosecond: a light-nanosecond is
about one foot, and is 300mm to six decimal places.
I can never directly remember the miles-to-kilometers conversions,
but I can remember the speed of light in Km (300,000 Km/s) and
in miles (186,000 mi/s), both numbers good to six places. Therefore,
one Km equals .62 mi. Simple.
