>So what does socialism mean?
That's a very nice thing you made, I see you worked very hard on it,
I like it a lot, give it to me immediately or I'll put a bullet in your brain.
>is it compatible with libertarian ideals?
No.
>Webster's New International Dictionary defines a libertarian as
> "One who holds to the doctrine of free will;
Which goes to prove once again that lexicographers are not Gods and in
fact know little about politics and less about philosophy. It always amazes me
when people look to the dictionary as the ultimate authority in settling deep
questions. In general we don't we look in a dictionary to learn how to
communicate, instead lexicographers observe how we communicate to learn
how to write their book, sometimes they get it wrong and usually it's circular.
Free will is liberty and liberty is free will, not very illuminating.
