I preface this URL with the fact that none of this has been
corroborated by other scientists. However, a relevant section
of the article explains the situation:
"On October 22 and on the following night, the engineer reported
detecting signals from the EQ Pegasi star system which is 22 light
years away."
"The signals were not the type that occurs naturally. The data has
been distributed to several astronomers and observatories."
There are plenty of possible explanations other than ETI but it
will be interesting to see how this story develops.
