I have seen several of these things. Always a letdown. There's a quality to
ftf that simply can't done via teleconferencing. I think it is a total
waste of precious Extropy resources to get into this. Most of these things
were more about "Gee whiz, ain't we on the cutting edge" I don't need it,
and spend the money on airfare for a good speaker or something. The same
money could produce an excellent Web site on the conference for all to
enjoy.....
