Yes, the Net by itself is no substitute for ftf contact; and lonely nerds
who aren't socially skilful will not get better via the Net.

However, my experience is different, cuz I am willing to do ftf, so I go to
cryo meetings, extropian events, etc, and meet the people behind the email
postings. This expands my life, and healthfully so.
