Hi,

I'm suprised no one in any of these fora have mentioned this yet.
Their webpage is located at:

http://java.sun.com/products/jini/

Basically, it appears to be a 48k upgrade to the java language
which permits widespread distributed computing. If it is real, it
may well turn out to be pretty huge.
