The second logical consequence is that the open list will need to
_improve_ it's PR. People who choose to be on both lists (IMHO) should
have the responsibility of being diplomatic, setting a good example, and
always putting the list in the best possible light. Perhaps
well-intentioned new members who start "grey-goo" or "cloning for
transplantation" threads on the open list could be privately encouraged to
move the discussion to the private list.
