Is this the only oddity you found in the Bible? I'd say it starts with
Genesis 1,1. Check out http://www.inifidels.org, a very useful resource for
any active (but not necessarily militant) atheist. You can use the search
engine on the site to search for "contradictions", will get you some nifty
lists of Biblical contradictions.
