I wonder what the big deal with this is. Germline genetic engineering
(which is banned (?)) is potentially a much more powerful means to
change our DNA than just enabling to propagate those who previously
couldn't. Ok, so now we have monkeys which are neither male nor
female. So what?
Besides of providing some cheap shocking effect to the mainstream
(which, apparently, is shocked very easily) I honestly do not see what
this is any good for. Just my 0.02$.
