I'd love to debate the semantics of Sphinx dating, but I'm sure it would be more
appropriate on another list.

I'm no geologist, but the evidence of water erosion is more substantial than that
of an egyptologists non-scientific perspective. Just because its been written,
doesn't make it true.

I'm really not an expert, but the evidence seems to lead me in the 10k
direction..

Do you know something scientific about the date of the sphinx or are you just
reiterating what archeologists think?
