Re: Security through authentication

In my non-professional view, bandwidth overheads seem of
little significance for transfers of texts or money,
and achieving security from the state through faults
in its law (that has to be applied literally, and can
only catch up with such methods after years of debates,
during which there well can appear several new techniques
not envisioned by the law) seems about as good a thing as
achieving it through a technically clean method.

Most overhead in the effort of securing one's communications
goes to the struggle with social systems anyway; packet
costs do not seem that important.

Would somebody care to summarize the codepunks conclusions
on this?
