Can you point me to any online material about the electronics used in
sending audio signals over fiber optics? Here in Palo Alto a bunch of us
are trying to figure out the best way to bring high speed data connectivity
to our homes. The businesses already have optic fibers, but at high cost.
I'm interested in using Fast Ethernet, but splicing optic fiber in place of
the Category 5 wires for those homeowners who want to "future proof" their
connection.
