It has great relevance. The postbiological era is a little ways off yet.
Before that is the era of biological transformations, a most extropian
thing. Choosing gender, altering sexuality, creating new variations seems
to be a completely appropriate topic of discussion, certainly as least as
much as talking about today's computer operating systems.
