But according to some myths (Heisod?) he was freed by Hercules. There
is one poem I read by some author (memory reference failure) where he
is described as smiling while the eagle sent by Zeus hacks at his
liver, since he knows he will be freed by his remote
descendant/relative in just a few millennia. A quite fitting symbol
for cryonics.
