Unless "someone" does unto Microsoft as "someone" did unto IBM
and, rumor has it, "someone" in Taiwan did (or nearly did) unto
Apple a few years ago, namely reverse-engineers whatever's necessary
from the published standards that make it possible to write Windows
applications in the first place.
