I would second the nomination of _Out of Control_ and would actually
like to see it's inclusion on the top ten list. The main advantages
being that it's an extremely broad book and an fairly easy read for
someone with a limited technical background (or a specialization in only
one field). I've found it very effective in broadening the world views
of skeptical friends.
