I heard the same thing. In about 20,000 years, our star in its orbit
around the galactic center will supposedly enter a relatively
high-density molecular cloud. This will supposedly wreck havoc with our
biosphere and climate in very unpleasant ways. Unfortuanetly, I can't
recall where I read or heard it. If true, one more reason to get our
butts off the womb planet!
