I think logic is very importanat in "retracing one's steps" after having
made a huge leap of lateral thinking. Lateral thinking can take you to
unknown territoriy - places that logic alone cannot take you. But like a
trail of grains of rice or candies, logic can help you find your way home
from a magical mystery tour of the mind - and actually prove that
there *is* a *logical*, but very cryptic, path to your lateral, creative
thought!
