That sounds like a redefinition of the term "smart" to me. Both sonar
processing is highly nontrivial, and I think somebody (Dawkins?) has once
mentioned their cortex being of a more ancient, primitive makeup than even
ours is. Besides, we are threatening them beasties, not them us, and them
Stoics seem not to do much about it. "... and thanks for all the fish"?
