Other conferences near Extro3?

          I consider going to the Extro3 conference, but living in
          London there is quite a bit of journey for me to get to
          California. It would therefore be nice if there were some
          other interesting symposium in America at about the same
          time (say plus minus two weeks) that one could cover on the
          same trip. For me, it would presumably be conferences in
          analytic philsophy, neuroscience, or some other
          transhumanist-related gathering. Does anybody have any
          information on this?
