Kathryn's right here: we had considerable opportunity for discussion,
and no one objected to letting ExI do its own thing; nor do I. My
suggestion came when it did simply because that's when I thought of it,
and did not in any way reflect upon the value of any other suggestions
or decisions of the past. Ideas just come when they come; I am sorry
if the timing of my inspiration was inconvenient, or if that caused
some to speculate about my motives or my feelings about ExI's ideas.

I invite, welcome, and value criticism of my ideas, and I do not hold
back from giving my own evaluations of others.
