Any details/ETA? My idea has some interesting features that I'd like
to try, but if ExI is doing something else, then I'll try them elsewhere.
Given my simplified version, there are some interesting side-effects:
first of all, one can take over an existing list without their consent,
lobbying for people to join your list simply as a filtering service
for the unpaid list. Second, you can filter at multiple levels: posts
that pay 2 tokens get distributed to all, 1-token messages go to a
subset, and unpaid ones to the general list. That way, each person
can decide what level he wants to read, and how important each post he
makes is. Also, lists affiliated with a sponsoring organization (like
ExI) can have a backdoor for the organization's posts to always succeed.
