That's why we want enough knowledge of how immunity works to take over.
If you think of intelligence as evolution uploaded the battle against
bugs looks a lot nicer on our side. Generation time of ideas in a fast
thinker should outcompete bugs, not to mention our other advantages of
intelligence and communication.
We've got programmable logic machines. When we've got programmable
immune systems and programmable factories (the Drextech promise) life
will be spiffy.
