The electromagnetic waves magically avoid oceans and rocks,
but not ground -level receiving antennas. Say again?

Some analysts claim the HAARP system is capable of pinpointing a taxi, in say New York, or broadcating to a whole country, say Spain. But this isn't LF, sorry.
