I have been doing some preliminary experiments with technosphere
simulations, and I'll see if one could model it. Currently I am looking
at the growth of diversity as the technosphere spreads; in my simplest
models wedges of different "cultures" evolve with rather sharp
boundaries; cultural interaction smooths them out (unless there is a
limit to information exchange set by how different they are).
