A good online source of popular expositions about physics and astro
questions is John G. Cramer's collection of articles from his "Alternate
View" column for Analog science fiction magazine. These are available
in full text form, at <URL:

articles on FTL drives, including one about FTL photons in the negative
energy region of the Casimir effect, another about FTL quantum tunneling,
and a very recent one on the Alcubierre warp. He covers a lot of the
other speculative physics topics we discuss here as well.
