I agree. It is the application of doubt that leads to the
elimination of error and an increase in the accuracy of one's ideas.
By constantly questioning and refining our own belief system we can
progress closer and closer to truth. Faith can only interfere with
this progress and create stagnation.

The driving force behind scientific and technological progress is
doubt, the opposite of faith.
