If you are looking for the effects that nicotine provides, why not
take a route that is much safer? Try choline/B-5 supplementing (around
3000mg/600mg daily should have the intented effect) or DMAE. The only
drawback would be that with choline/b-5, you would not recieve an instant
rush like you may with nicotine (I have no personal experience with
nicotine, but I believe this to be true), and with the DMAE one would
build a tolerance, but that is bound to happen with nicotine as well. I
think that one must decide which is more important, getting a quick rush
and being alert for a brief interval of time, or operating on an alert and
rational/clear level all of the time. You are bound to get used to either
after a while, but with the latter, not feeling it does not imply that it
is not working. They all work in the cholinergic system, creating and
filling acetylcholine receptors, some are just safer than others.
