Yes. The problem is that we can condition ourselves (or, if we're too lazy
for that, arrange to have others condition us) to enjoy and find pleasure
in practically anything. So we'd better be careful what we condition
ourselves to enjoy.

Just as with investment, diversification seems to be a key part of the trick.
