Are you saying that you are unaware that our government has
seriously restricted FOIA access, has removed or bypassed some
traditional checks and types of oversights, and that the Patriot
Act and much subsequent legislation allows more sweeping
survelliance, search, detention with little or no oversight and
far less due process? I would think that reading more closely
would clear up any missing evidence that our government is
certainly not interested in reciprocal transparency.
