Where, when and under what conditions? Is it your contention that if
a "US citizen" is on the battlefield assisting the enemy we have no right to
regard him as an "enemy combatant" and kill him? What if that person has a
weapon and is using it? Must I first ID him before I shoot back? Does that
in turn mean I can't shoot at any opposing combatant before IDing them to
ensure they are indeed non US citizens acting as enemy combatants? -- If so,
what level of proof do you require? Is picture ID required? How about if
the individual is carrying no documentary evidence of citizenship?
