### If they grew them in mice, it couldn't have been much more than a year,
probably much less. You could transplant clusters of mini-kidneys to humans,
tide them over with dialysis, and then only make sure they don't overgrow
with time. You need only a fraction of the adult creatine clearance to keep
you off dialysis.
