I doubt very much that any book should be read by
everyone, but NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR (aka 1984)
taught me about true power.

I know that Bertrand Russell wrote a book entitled
"Power", and I have that around somewhere and should
dig it up. But it's bound to be pretty old, and I'm
wondering if anyone knows of some good books on how
power arises in human societies, why it's inevitable,
how it really works, what it's good for, and so on.

I think that an objective understanding of power may
be a blind spot for all of us, but especially for
libertarians.
