Robert Bradbury opines:
<<Whether it be Sweden or Somalia
the questions are always going to be "How clever are you?" or
"How strong are you?".  And there are going to be two independent
survival and reproduction evolutionary vectors based on those
two principles.

So unless someone can propose why Sweden should produce more
intelligent people than Somalia I reject any ideas related
to differences between the intelligences of the various "races".

Robert>>

Because genetics has proven so illuminating, I would not choose to disregard
"culture" social brainwashing as a primary factor. Perhaps the Somalis do
not "value" in a passionate way, learning; and the economic and social values
that support the development of "intelligent people"? Note that (seemingly)
Islam, and the tribal mentality inherent in Somali society are not conducive
to intellectual development.

One could then conclude, by dint of genetics, that the Chinese produce so
many intelligent people (academics and scholars) that they are
intellectually superior to Swedes. I don't buy into this notion, but one must
enjoy learning, see its value as important unto itself, and spend on learning
and reading, for example. One must integrate scholarship into business
activities, which then can have a multiplier effect on scholarship.

Damn clever, those Swedes!
