I believe the theory goes that there are many influental gay men in the
fashion world. The fashion world chooses the models. So gay men chooses
the models. Thus slightly more masculine models get choosen.
It *is* amusing that in the more hardcore/porn "mens magazines" women
are considderably more "shapely", than in fashion magazines.
Go figure ...
