I'm using an old Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 3200C, slow, one page at a time. It
runs a free bundled OCR program (HP PrecisionScan LT) that's about as crappy
as anything I've dealt with: for starters, it drops out all the tabs and
runs the text together without par breaks. I'd appreciate advice from anyone
who knows this stuff and can help me find a free or cheap better
text-scanning program for this machine.
