An interesting project I intend to undertake if all
goes well and I'm still alive post-Singularity is
to simulate the world with me having a different
skin color, and see how it goes.

The best way will be to mess with the simulated
(not emulated) people's visual areas so that Lee
looks like he's a different race to them, and see
if he end up with some people being cold to him,
and others oddly warm. It'll get a little touchy
when poor Lee has to participate in discussions
about race, but I'm sure that I'll think of ways
around such obstacles.

It'll be very interesting to see how certain
profound friendships develop differently, and
I'll finally be able to write a better book
than "Black Like Me".
