I have read the book again a few times and also went many times back to find
out exactly what happened. At the end of the book there is a passage about
Trixia (already defocused) like "... and then it had been when she reached
down on the comms link and made herself known to Sherkaner Underhill"
(quoting by memory). There is no detailed description that I have found
earlier in the book, only some passages about unexplained radio interference
that the collaborators of Sherkaner had discovered, imemdiately after the
radio show.
