I suppose that would make me a bed whore, since most beds say that to
me, and sleeping is one of my favorite activities.
Those mornings where the sun is streaming in and warming you, and you
feel like you are on a tryptophan/dopamine trip, and no alarm clock is
nagging you.... I've often wondered if I was addicted to sleeping...
Of course, I'm one of those people who can fall asleep almost anywhere.
Back in my Air Force days, I'd often fall asleep in the back of the
crew van whilst parked at the end of the runway, waiting for our planes
to land, while C-130s, C-141s, and C-5's were roaring by, less than 200
feet away.... The other guys in the van would marvel at my abilities...
These days, after working four ten hour days in the garage, I typically
go to sleep saturday afternoon after work (4pm) and don't wake up til
noon the next day.
