 We probably do. Do you have any argument for your idea of responsibility?
For instance, what risks would population biology help us deal with?
 My impression is that your approach would delay development of assemblers
by decades, which implies either that researchers who ignore your methods
will make your approach irrelevant, or that there is an unusually effective
prohibition on using other approaches.
