That's Tarkovsky's style. It's not meant to be a pure action film.
It's not an action story.

That's one thing that can be done better with today's effects...

I'm shocked that a so so directory would attempt to remake a great film
by one of the greatest directors of all time. This happened once
before: "Psycho." I fear the results might be much the same. It's too
bad because there are other Lem stories that could be adapted to film,
such as _His Master's Voice_ (which would make a nice put down of the
awful movie "Contact") and _Eden_.

We have to see the results. It might not be the same as the Tarkovsky
rendition. I fear it will be crap cinema, but we shall see.
