I am suprised you didn't mention Srebrenica, which is a prime example of a
European-run effort. When the going got tough, the "Peacekeepers" got
going -- they ran away -- and about 7,000 refugees died in the "protected"
"safe area". And then there was Rwanda.

If they won't protect helpless refugees against genocidal thugs, why should
we expect them to be concerned about terrorists and WMDs?
