"This figure shows the number of Leonids per hour as provided by the
Dutch company Aurora. Aurora is participating in an airborne
measurement campaign organized by Peter Jenniskens (NASA Ames Research
Center). In this campaign a number of optical cameras are carried on
board an airplane that flies during this night from Spain to Nebraska
well above any clouds. The on-board crew counts the meteors that they
observe using the cameras. The meteor counts are transmitted via
satellite internet connection from the plane to ESOC."

By eye:

The 'European peak' shows a maximum of about 1000/hr at ~ 4:30 UT,
The 'North American peak' shows a maximum of about 1400/hr at ~11:00 UT.

(count rates are at ~30% of the predictions)
